The National Assembly approved the Teachers' Service Commission Bill, 2015, opening a new chapter in the regulation of the profession and improvement of teachers' welfare.
The Minister for Education and Vocational Training, Dr Shukuru Kawambwa, said the Bill had taken aboard views from all key stakeholders and took care of most pertinent issues that had for long needed to be addressed.
